Project: Get Fine

So, I became a Weight Watchers drop out a few weeks ago but have decided to not totally throw in the towel... yet.  I am doing a program called 'Couch to 5K' or 'C25K' (I will embarrassingly admit I just figured out that that acronym meant couch to 5k in a clever way - we all have ditz moments, right? That was a major one). 

This program rocks (see I even added it to my favorites list!)... I downloaded the app on my iPhone and loaded my music and a little voice tells me when to walk or run and even the half way point.  All while Beyonce sings my fave songs!  I am NOT a runner and never ever thought running, unless being chased, was a good idea.  So this is huge for me.  HUGE! 


I'll keep you all updated on my progress.  I just finished Week 3/Day 1 and it wasn't too bad!  It's such a slow progession that even I look forward to the next run.  (Did I say this was HUGE already?)  I need to be sure to get in another run this weekend!

I am also going to the gym for ZUMBA once a week.  I'd like to go twice (everyday, really) a week b/c it is so uberly fun.  I mean really fun.  I so want some Zumba pants with dancing shoes (sneaker type not high heels or anything crazy).  If you haven't Zumba'd you don't know what you're missin'!!!



This is totally what I look like at Zumba, by the way...
