Mother's Day

Mother's Day is an awesome creation.  I think we should get one quarterly.  My guys took me out to a fancy shmancy brunch at the Driskill Hotel that's located in downtown Austin.  We had to skip church to attend, which I felt bad about, but was nice to be 'spoilt' for the day.

When we got to the brunch we were surrounded by an all you can eat buffet of the most yummy food.  I stayed close to the seafood section.  I ain't no dummy! I know where the money is! I also discovered these yummy crab cakes with poached eggs on top.  Oh. Em. Gee... those were heavenly!!!  Victor was thoroughly disgusted with the runny eggs.  So I had to rescue him from those.

The boys ate corndogs (glad they ate free) and cake.  We were suppose to get complimentary pictures taken but they closed before we were done eating.  Bummer.  Luckily we found some nice people nearby, understanding of our situation, that took a few of us all together.
