Birthday Girl

I'm not going to lie, my birthday started off questionable.  My husband had to work, my kids had to eat, play, nap, and whine (not necessarily in that order)... just a normal day.  So by about 2:30 this afternoon I was feeling a little 'unloved' until my grandparents decided to come and bring me homemade birthday cake!  Yay for Nawnie and Ga!

Unbeknownst to me, Victor had set up a sitter and planned for a night out.  In the middle of our dinner at The Salt Lick we decided we didn't care and just enjoyed the family time.  We ate like crazy hyenas, yes, but it was oh so worth it.  That is some good BBQ!

After dinner we came back home and everyone sang me 'happy birthday' then Miles blew out my candles as I was making a wish.  Will the wish still come true when your almost 5 yr old blows out the candles?!  I'll letcha know.

The kids stayed up late playing with their Uncle Justin.  Now I sit and enjoy the last few minutes of my birthday thinking of how awesome of a life I have been given.  I pray I have many more birthdays to celebrate with the ones that I love the most.
