A New Year

The holidays are over.  I was sad to see them go.  Why is that I wonder?  I think it's because Miles, the sharp 4 year old that he is, was so super duperly excited about everything.  He sings a mean variation of Beliz Dabidad (Feliz Navidad), that just can't be beat.  He is still singing it, actually.  That and "Oh, Christmas Tree" in his pristine falsetto key.  When Preston joins in with his classic "Jingle Balls", I'm in heaven.  Ahh, this is the good life.  Holidays, rock!  We have it all on video, should anyone feel the need to share in my joy.

What else?  Well, back to normal I suppose.  I whipped this house back into shape today as my boys played happily wherever I was cleaning/dusting/tidying.  They are growing up to be great buddies.  If Preston gets his feelings hurt or needs comforting he goes to Miles for a hug, if parents aren't around (or even if we are).  Usually, I am hiding around a corner gushing.  I think they know how much I love seeing them love on each other. I do, however, realize that Miles is probably (in most cases, not all) the reason Preston needs comforting.

Well, tomorrow is another busy day... back to school!  But before I go, holiday pictures are up on the website... so go check them out.

Peace, love, and hair grease...
