Carmalized Apple Pork Chops

What could be a better first post in my blog than about food? Nothing, I'm certain.

Tonight I made yummy pork chops from things I surprisingly had around the house... Have you noticed that pork chops can be extremely dry? Most of my experience with them has left me with sore, well, um chops, no pun intended... but I hafta say, this recipe helped that. The chops I used were on the thick side, but the sweet apples really helped the chops go down easy. I'd recommend using chops of 1/2 inch or less and Granny Smith apples, oh and doubling the yummy "sauce" part would be a good idea too. Check out the recipe and let me know what you think!

Let me ask, is it just me? Or does this look like apple pie? Sighhh... I promise it isn't. It's dinner! And served with brown rice and green beans... Mmm, mmm, good!

Anyway... here's the recipe, courtesy of Allrecipes.com.

Thanks goes to my friend, Jodi, who helped me make my way through my first blog post and doctored up my bad picture taking too!
